I've seen two friends who have well-made solutions to allow them to enjoy their digital media... uhmm.... digitally.

* Justin. He has Windows Media Center and shares his movies between upstairs and down on huge TVs.
* Paul. He uses a bazillion devices connected to a projector in his basement with a kick-@$$ surround-sound system. Although I think he still uses regular DVDs, hooking up a PC to his rig is pretty trivial.
