Not sure what you mean by "abrupt"? Try downloading them instead of streaming them, maybe.

The two cut scene pieces are very abrupt... intentionally so. They are designed to loop indefinitely. But the rest should have endings, more or less.

Try Winamp? It works well for most of my Windows media playback needs.
