My bro needs his windows system to run Unix from time to time. Seemed like this was the place to ask.

Ubuntu
Two ways:
1. Download Ubuntu Linux Live CD. Boot from the CD. Choose "install" option, and then follow the prompts to use only part of your hard drive.
2. Download the Ubuntu Linux Live CD. Boot from the CD. Do not install, just run Linux from the CD.
