Hello again everyone. I have stopped by to read occasionally, and without fail my son is there everytime. Now my son is 3 years old. Every single time I come onto this site he thinks that I have pulled up a new picture of him. He thinks that because of the pic of Matt's little boy in the toilet. Hunter has never done the pull a boy out of the hole trick hisself, however. He has been known to run around naked wearing nothing but a pair of bright yellow rain boots with frogs on them.

Every year my family goes on our annual camping Mayfest trip. We have been going for ten years now. We have also had the same tent for that long. This spells disaster to anyone out there with common sence. Where we go is basically in a field out in the mountains. Prone to every bit of wind and element imaginable. So of course it rained, and rained, and rained. From the wind tearing into our tent it made it very willowy.

So we are all people of the times. My question is, the wedding still a thing that is for the girl and the guy just rides along?

So Justin's blog reminded me that there has alway's been something that I have alway's wanted to say but haven't done yet. It's about Matt. I have alway's wanted to tell him thank you for being him. Matt just may not realize how much influence he really had on some of us. More than just being in Wayward Sun.

You see, Matt was Matt.

Now I don't know what everyone's opinion is when concerning Gay Rights.

Mine are that I believe that even gay Ameerican's should have the same basic civil and in my belief God given rights that all humanity has. They should be able to decide and have the same marital rights as the rest of us. Who are we to decide whom another person of "Freedom" should love. I can not decide for any other person what there moral beliefs should be. We are a country of many diversities.

Ok, I am going to rant a little bit.

I have a friend of mine that I have known for 17 years. She was married young had children very young. Was abused young. Was divorced young. She came through all of that a better woman. What gets me, though, is that she has done everything right. She has tried to put aside her anger for the betterment of her children. Work with the father for their sake. Has gone through all of the proper channels in court.

My problem lies with the system.

So tonight at diner my family was sitting down, and my husband made the comment that my now 8 year old daughter was looking a little pudgy in the cheeks. Now to him and I this just means that she is getting ready for another growth spurt. She on the other hand began to cry. She was devestated over weight at barely 8. Well we tried to explain to her that no matter what size she is she will alway's be beautiful. I asked her why she was so concerned about her weight and she said that she didn't want to take up to much space. That one stopped me. So I tried a different approach. I told her that it is the beauty on the inside that reflects on the outside.

Hello everyone. This being my first blog entry I had a hard time trying to figure out what to write. Everyone here is already well conversed. I didn't have a clue until I saw my poi hanging on my wall.

Now I know that you are probably wondering what poi are, other than fish. Basically they are giant wicks hanging from a chain that you swing in pattern around your body... while on fire. I began learning how last year at one of my festivals, and found it to be a very powerfull experience. It was fantastic to know that I was in control of this primal element in a beautiful art form.

Without catching myself on fire! It was very freeing for me.
