Can’t Get Through To Delta

Delta slashed their fares in half today, more or less setting the ground for fare reduction across the entire air commuter industry. They call their new program “Simplifares”.

I couldn’t get through to Delta’s reservations phone line. Their website was timing out all day. I’m figuring that everyone is calling, trying to get on board at the new low fares.

A shame that I don’t live anywhere near a Delta hub.

    I guess I should have Christy check out their fares, she has a couple of trips scheduled, and Salt Lake City International Airport is mostly a Delta-owned facility.

    So schedule a layover, and take Delta the rest of the way in and visit us! Or, umm, save the money and go buy yourself something special.

    They settled on the name Simplifares after trying out their original, more cumbersome name of “Staving Off Liquidation For a Few More Months”.

      I felt that I got a good price on fares, but I hate to even check to see what they are now. I hate missing out on a good deal. Where else could I go? HMMM.–
