I have been very quite lately. Just been reading what every one is saying. Some interesting and strange things. I have been swamped at work and at home.
We are FINALLY leaving on vacation. Last year at this time, we did the whole Disney thing. This year, we are taking it a step farther. We are actually doing a disney cruise. I am so excited and so is Genna. The rate was extremely cheap, otherwise I couldn’t have afforded it.
I will be back on the 24th and then off to St. Louis for business.
Have a great week!!!
EDIT by matthew: Fixed tpyo.
Swampage…
On Swampage…
Trust me, I know the feeling! I’m in classes 8 hours a day right now with the company I suspect is preparing to let me go, while looking for a new job. Heck, I’d lay me off… the project I was hired to work on never materialized, and my skills are redundant with their already-fully-staffed UNIX ops team. Barring some accident or someone quitting, it’s unlikely I’ll be there much longer, I suspect.
Good on you for taking a vacation. I personally think that at least a once-yearly real family vacation — the type where you’re not just staying at a relative’s or friend’s house — is excellent therapy for family harmony and building memories.
So what do you have going on in St. Louis?

I am BACCCKKKK
I am back. Tired but I am home. The cruise was worth it and I think that Genna and I bonded again. With working full time and Genna doing her ice skating stuff by the time we get home, we don’t have the time we need to be together. This past week was great for us to get to know each other again. I think you are right Matt, families need atleast one week where they are away from other famiy and friends to build those memories.
I am going to St. Louis to a Meeting’s convention. It is RCMA or something like that. It is for Religious Convention Meeting Association or something like that. It is part of my job to go out there and let those guys know that choice hotels has some awesome hotels with enough meeting space to accommodate the mid size meetings or conventions. Sounds fun…not really.
