I got this in a email from my sister. Since religion is sometimes brought up here, I was interested in seeing how other do on the quiz. I’m actually embarrassed to say how badly I did.
This is a twenty-question quiz on the birth of Jesus. You might be surprised at what you know or don’t know about it. I know I was.

Only 55 of 100…
I only scored 55 of 100, and I realized that an awful lot of the questions they asked really were from carols. And I started remembering the lyrics and singing the songs through in order to remember the answers…

the Christmas test
this link doesnt work any more, I was wondering if any one had the extensive answer sheet to it saved Thank you
Hmmm… only 45 for me,
Hmmm… only 45 for me, although it should have been 50 because one of the answers is wrong, technically.
Even though the Bible doesn’t say where Jesus was born, the actual spot in Bethlehem were the historic event is recognized as taking place is, in fact, in a cave.
Once I realized…
The test was based exclusively upon the Biblical source (which, in my opinion is of dubious authenticity anyway), I thought I sniffed out all the “trick” questions. (Which meant marking a lot of “none of the above”)
Even so, I ended up missing 1. Question #16 which asks, “What did the innkeeper say”. I marked (of course), “There’s no room in the inn” because that’s almost a direct quote from the Bible.
However, because the Bible doesn’t specify that the innkeeper told them this, the answer they wanted was “none of the above.” I guess, while technically correct, it does illustrate that the test was set up to trick you by posing the question in such a matter.
Furthermore, who else would tell them that there’s no room in the inn if not the innkeeper? Talking frogs? (Well, it is the Bible!)
Dubious authenticity…
MMmmmusst.. nnooott.. aaarrrguueee….
Good call, dude. Everyone on
Good call, dude. Everyone on this board’s mind is pretty much made up on that issue, one way or the other. 🙂 I’m sure we’ve already put in hours upon hours of our lives in debate on that question in one forum or another, regardless of the answer we arrived at. Another 50 posts ain’t gonna do much.
That being said..
I will argue again..
just not today.
You have stupid hair.

Where did the quiz go?
The quiz disappeared. Anybody know where to find it?
Alas…
Alas, welcome to cyberspace. Where the hip and trendy are quickly sent to the garbage dump of history. It’s gone, and I’m doubting it’ll come back.
