I ran across another interesting tidbit: it’s possible to cook an egg in just three minutes using two cell phones.
My wife and I both have phones, and I work nights and try to keep my schedule (mostly) on the weekends.
New science project for late at night! Yeah!

Place your bets
Total cost: 25 minutes of your life, a few cents in electrical bills Outcome: Raw egg, lower battery levels in your phones
Phones don’t send signals directly to each other, so I’m very, very skeptical.
Signals…
True, true, but they produce an enormous amount of spread-spectrum interference and are fairly high wattage. Enough so that I have to turn off my phone when flying my planes, or else they’ll make my plane crash.
I’ll have to try it out and see if it’s just the latest urban legend…
