Matthew,
Totally random question, and I’m sure that I’ll be providing nowhere near enough info for troubleshooting this, but here goes.
I’ve got a civicspace installation on a virtual server that’s been running smoothly since last November.
One of the members of the civicspace site today mentioned that when they go to the site, all they get is a blank page. No error, no unauthorized login screen, nothing. Upon further testing, I’ve discovered that going to anything in the civicspace directory on this site, including non-existant URLs, returns just a blank page.
Any idea in general what might be the problem? None of the .php files indicate that they’ve been changed since November. In fact, the most recent changes to the civicspace site are just some files uploaded about two weeks ago.
I know the virtual server host has been making some changes recently to the physical server as a whole. Is there a php or MySQL setting elsewhere on the server (like the root directory instead of the civicspace directory) that might be the cause?
Thanks.
Logs
I’d need to see your access and error logs, and have the URI to adequately troubleshoot the issue.
If you can give me access to you box and about 10 minutes, I can probably nail what the problem is for you. Contact me at my email if we need to exchange further details: matthew at barnson dot org.
If none of your files have changed since November, there’s a good chance you got hacked by an automated exploit. There have been a number of security updates since then.

Hey, quick follow up to
Hey, quick follow up to this. Thanks again for your offer to help. Shortly after I posted this I discovered that someone on one of the other domains on the server had modified the MySQL installation, which ended up corrupting the whole @*#$% thing.
So, after a quick MySQL repair, we got it up and running again.

Matt, did you have to change something to make the “my notify settings” appear for every user? I installed notify on my family’s blog and only the #1 user gets that menu item. Frustrating. Any ideas?
Check access control
check your access control settings; chances are, it isn’t turned on for non-admin users.
