All I gotta say is that chick did it live. Dude. I’m floored, that rocked!
Hot Chick. Guitar. Sampler. Sweet.

Half-baked opinions, served lukewarm.

Saw a guy pull the same stunt with similar gear a couple years ago at a summer festival, but he went so far as to loop live bass, guitar, and harmonica. It was sick. I gotta get that stuff.
Interesting thing…
I thought it was interesting to contrast the performance I linked above — which I thought was just amazing — to her similar performance on Conan O’Brien. I was trying to figure out why this one seemed so cool, and the similar performance on Conan was just… dead:

I watched both to figure out what was up, and on Conan she seemed like she was asleep, and not really enjoying herself. And then I realized a huge difference was the amount of audience participation… at her other concert, that whole place was screaming over every cool thing she did, whereas on Conan, it sounded as if she was playing for geriatric stick-in-the-muds or something.
Interesting what an effect audience involvement can have on a performance. And it sounded like on Conan she had a cold. Plus the people who mixed her did an awful job.
