When they were written
They planned the strike for weeks. So, of course, they wrote them before the strike! They just aren’t allowed to change their signs or be present when they are changed. Additionally, they demand that should their signs be rebroadcast on the Internet or other new media, that they receive a portion of the proceeds for the reproduction of their copyrighted signs…
