Heading to Maryland!

So we finally booked our flight to MD. We’re arriving at Ronald Reagan Washington National on Thursday, July 6 around 5 PM, and leaving around 5 PM on Monday, July 10.

Let’s plan the party!

    1. I’ll be there!

I’ll be there, as will Christy 😛

So dinner at, uh…. (insert restaurant here), followed by socializing at your house until you’re sick of us, right?

  1. Looking forward to it

Let us know if you want any assistance with planning, happy to help.

  2. Friday

    So Friday, July 7 works?

It means we’ll be bagging the reunion party to do so 🙂 I’m really OK with that. Fact is, just about everybody in my grade that I really cared about is here!

Or… weird thought… we could see if we could crash the QOHS party with underclassmen and do a two-for-one followed by the social hour at Justin’s…

    1. Whats wrong with Saturday though.

Seriously… no need to skip one of them. Do both!

      1. Saturday…

Saturday’s actually the reunion gala. Friday’s a mixer for the alumni.

Or are you saying I should skip both? 🙂

        1. Up to you..

Give me an itinerary mixed with things you’d like to do and see. Kids, no kids? Does Christy want to spend a day with her MD friends? And which days do you want to stay where?

Fun things you may not have seen. The new Air/Space (free), the Spy Museum (costly), People, movies, heck.. if you got no kids withya, live it up.. when will be your next chance?

          1. No kids!

No kids, just the two of us. We spent our honeymoon in Maryland, so it might be nice to do a second one 🙂

I have already seen the new Air & Space. I would like to drive down one day to PG County and see the house where I was raised until I was twelve. The one next door to it just sold for $1.1 mil. Riverfront property, you know.

I’m not sure what I want to do yet. I’ll yak with Christy. The place has changed so much that it’s hard to even think what’s available to do anymore!

          2. Thoughts

Baseball game (O’s or nats) Movies (at the uptown is a blast) Do DC (Why not.. lots of museums and its free.. fun afternoon) Zoo (Again, done before, but free and fun) Visit old friends Music (I could see who’s in town) Hang out at myplace (Projector and games and movies.. FUN!)

          3. Overdosage…

Hang out at myplace (Projector and games and movies.. FUN!)

Maybe I could fall asleep halfway through Bigger, Longer, & Uncut at 1 AM…

    2. Count me in too..

Let me know what you guys decide. I want to go to the QO stuff for a little while too, but i’m game. — Bryan

  3. hm

Ironically, I think I’ll be in Rehoboth that weekend for my grandfather’s 80th birthday.

  4. If you have time… heh

Like there isn’t enough things pulling on you while you are out here, My parents will be in town, so that might be neat to catch up for a few minutes if you can get time…

  5. Restaurant Recommendation

Tim C. sent in the first recommendation for a restaurant for Friday night:

    Roy’s Place 2 E Diamond Ave Gaithersburg, MD 20877 (301) 948-5548 roysplacerestaurant.com

There is no “room” available per se, but we can shove some tables together for sure. Any comments?

  6. Headcount?

We have headcount yet for the Friday night gathering? I’m trying to work out a schedule where I would fly in Friday night and leave Saturday morning, but would only do so if there was significant showing.
