ONE MAN STAR WARS

Hey!
I have 2 tickets for the One-Man Star Wars show at the Woolly Mammoth theatre in DC. It is a show with one super-hyper dude who does the entire trilogy by himself in 90 mins. The reviews are amazing, and it looks like a lot of fun!! Many shows are selling out, but I have 2 cancellations from people moving out of town – so I wanted to offer the seats to Barnsonians first.. any takers?

  1. Love to, but…

Love to, but unfortunately it’s a bit of a drive for me…

  2. One Man… Star Wars?

Set to this music, after the intro slow bit… Original story regarding the original tune here

One man in the distance With his clothing all ablaze One man who’s a dreamer Of an Empire’s glory days.

One man on the brink of the lava One man, his cloak blacker than java One man of emotion And a not-quite-dead girl.

(Chorus) Some would say his sole charade Is his imposing mask and cape They can’t see young Anakin fry.

Some would say to use the Force Is a dead religion’s sorceror They’ll feel Vader crush their windpipe. (End Chorus)

One man, in love with a girl As his skin cracks and peels. One man, a great driver With a set of flying wheels.

One man, missing the birth Of Luke and Leia; which twin was first? One man, and George gloating As the dough rolls in.

    (Repeat Chorus)

(Bridge) Is he Darth Vader? Or just Anakin? I think he’s just a dude with awful skin Who likes to blow up a planet or two.

Is he a prophet All dressed in black? Should George have stopped with The Empire Strikes Back? It had better romance and carbonite, too!

(Altered chorus) Some would say that George should fade Like Anakin, with his black cloak ablaze. They can’t see all the revenues.

Some would say to “give us more!” A TV series and more prequels to 4. But now Joss Whedon’s got my views. (End Altered Chorus)
