It could happen to you…

I guess in a bad way, my mom and I are famous. For those of us that live in MD, you may have heard about this.

Yup, that was us. I know..I know, it was stupid. I have heard it from a dozen people. BUT….I ALWAYS leave my purse hidden in the car while at church. We have some elderly ladies who are mentally challenged and they steal money out of your purse. So we were told to keep it at home or hidden in your cars. Well, apparently I am not the only one who does this. The church down the street was hit on xmas eve and purses, men’s wallets, cell phones, cash, and xmas presents were stolen. Two schools, including my daughters, was hit during the day. Parents just running in to get their kids for only a few minutes would come back out and find their car window’s smashed in and purses stolen.

It has taken me two weeks to get my life back in order and it is still a battle with credit card companies, bank, etc.

    OK, but seriously, that sucks. Having anything stolen is a pain in the butt, all the way down from your favorite Sharpie at your desk and up to having your house stolen from you. I commiserate with you virtually across 3,000 miles 🙂

      You crack me up Matt. I think you would look great with a nice big purple purse. It will go great with your complexion. HAHAHAHA.

      Thank you again!!! It is very difficult to get over this. We felt violated. Unfortunately it was a learning lesson and it hurt me that they did this to me. Being a single mom and struggling to have a nice home and a place that Genna can feel safe. She had a hard time with this. She sleep walks when she is upset. She slept walk for about a week and now she is back to normal.

          That was me and my mom. We go to Grace Trinity United Church of Christ. There are three churches within 1/2 mile of each other. One was hit on xmas eve then ours was hit on January 14th. We are right off I-70 so easy off and apparently easy on.
