    I’m actually fairly excited for this show. It looks like fun.

    However, it doesn’t look like my spouse’s sort of fun. I’ll have to organized a guys-night-out to catch it in theaters, I think.

        Absolutely. Just because I’ve grown up doesn’t mean I hang out with a totally different crowd. We just do more than theater and cheerleading now 🙂

  2. I’m a little disappointed

    I’m a little disappointed that it doesn’t look like Anthony Steward Head is the Beadle, as was originally thought, but other than that the cast and cinematography looks fantastic.

      What I read was that Anthony Stewart Head (along with four other actors) were cast as a Greek Chorus of sorts, that would act as the narrators (“Attend the tale of Sweeney Todd”, I assume).

      During filming, however, Johnny Depp’s daughter got sick and filming was delayed, so the narrator roles were cut for time. Too bad, because it sounded like a good idea.

      I don’t know the name of the guy playing the Beadle, but it’s Peter Pettigrew from the Harry Potter movies.
