Julia Sweeney on Salt Lake City

“The one thing I’m trying to get across is that I’m sympathetic to people caught up in religion. If you’re in a religion, it’s a reasonable thing to continue to believe. In Salt Lake City, you cannot not have an opinion about God. It’s like you’re living in Iraq. You must know what side you’re on because it’s everywhere.” –Julia Sweeney, better known as “Pat” from Saturday Night Live

Sweeney performed Saturday night in Park City. I’m sorry I missed it.

      1. Not seen it…

I have not yet seen Army of Darkness. I think I’ve heard this reference before.

BTW, you must blog about your Angel on your tree. Christy and I saw the picture, but we don’t know any more back-story… she somehow thinks that Kelly “let you” do it, when I think she was in on it…

        1. Not much of a blog

        2. OH..

And set aside 4 hours for an Evil Dead 2 / Army of Darkness (Which is, in fact, ED 3) dbl feature. (ED 1 is fun too, but skippable)

Imagine “Night of the Living Dead”, with almost an Andrew Dice Clay character, with both a real horror and also a total spoof mentality.
