I have a samsung i-760, and I hate it, it has windows mobile 6 on it with all the vzw lockouts, I was wondering if it is possible to put a linux o/s on it and strip windows off? I figured if anyone knew one of you guys would
thanks

Instructions
Step 1: Save any important data to some sort of USB device. Step 2: Download the CD from http://www.ubuntulinux.com/ for Ubuntu Linux Desktop. Step 3: Burn the CD. Step 4: Boot the CD. Step 5: Play around with it for a while on the CD. Please ignore the long load times, as you’re driving a complete operating system from CD. Step 6: Once you’re done driving it for a test, install it to the hard drive.
