Congrats on 30 good years, here’s to Many more like them….
2 months and i will join you in those honors….

Its nice
TO have a couple years left in my twenties.
Thanks
Ben, thanks so much, means a lot.
However, for the record, I’m not in my 30s, I’m in my post-twenties.
For those of you still gloating about having a couple years left in your twenties: I hate you.
After I put on all black today and started walking around in a dark haze of morbidness, I realized I could either be 30, or i could be dead.
At least I’m not as old as my grandfather, who turns 100 tomorrow. We’re all here in DC celebrating his ascension to centurion status. The Graber clan descends in his honor.

Poppop can you show me why…
Poppop can you show me why
Your heart whispers in my mind?
Poppop can you show me how
Your eyes speak to me, even now…
I remember the band playing for his… what… eighty-fifth? eighty-sixth? Or did I get the wrong guy?

That’s Ben Grandfather
Ben’s gramps is “pop pop” so I’m sure we did a sterling rendition on his account.

Crap, you’re right
Yep, must have been Ben’s grandpa.

oh man i’d forgotten that
Dude, he’s not THAT old. He’s not even 80 yet, and that was like 10 years ago. I actually think it was his 65th birthday. At the Pimlico.

It’s hard to believe we’re all so old. I remember the day I met Ben. We were at a band thing, if you recall. I had just met Matt the week before and was shocked to hear you talking about him. Now all of a sudden I have four kids.
I feel like a kid trying to be a good parent. Tell your poppop congrats on his 100. That is cool!

I do remember that. That still stands as one of the weirdest coincidences in my entire life. And here we are, um, 12 years later? Holy crap, when did we all get old?
HAPPY BIRTHDAY !!
