Hi guys, I am in need of web space, I have been using tripod as my free web space for my daughter, but it seems my needs have outgrown what tripod provides. So I was wondering if any of you knew of a good free web space provider, I need about 50 to 100 megs of space.

they are not what I need, cuz they limit your max file size, I am looking to post some videos we took of my daughter, and every free web site that I have seen either has a file size limit, or a bandwidth limit, guess I want to have my cake and eat it too

I can vouch for barnson.org — they have good tech support.
It’s hard getting what you need for free these days because most web support providers are now giving a lot of space, monthly transfer, email accounts, etc. for around $10 a month including tax.
Getting hooked up through a friend (like Matt!) is probably the best way to go for free.

Jon’s faithfully paid me $10.00 a month for webhosting here for Brusco.org. Yay me 🙂 Basically, I am happy to help out, but if people want virtual domains or much more than space to put a file or two, I’ll ask for some sort of reimbursement.
My provider charges $30.00 for 3 GB of storage, 40GB of transfer, with me having virtual complete control over my host. Anything that defrays that is welcome 🙂
