Take A Walk

A Man walking down the street falls into a hole. He finds that the walls are too steep to climb out of. A doctor walks by and the man calls out, Hey Doc can you help me out? The doctor scribbles a prescription down and tosses it into the hole. A Priest walks by and the man calls out, Father I am stuck can you help me out? The priest writes down a prayer and tosses it to the man in the hole. The third person to walk up is the man’s friend.

The man says “Hey, what good does that do; now we are both stuck down here.

I’m not deep. I don’t get it. Is it a joke?

    1. Not a joke…

This was just one of those things that tries to be deep. I might not have told it well, I had heard it and tried to copy it down from memory. The jist of it was that you can always depend on your friends i guess…

      1. I think I’ve heard…

I think I’ve heard something like it before, then, kind of like this:

A friend will visit you while you’re in jail. A good friend will bail you out. A best friend will be in the cell with you, saying “Man, that was fun, wasn’t it?”
