    With so many of us having “send email when a new comment is posted” enabled, I bet our inboxes went crazy this morning.

    I finally cleaned them all out. Including the inbound queue, I had no fewer than 1 comment for every single node ever on this site. For those counting, that’s 1058. Ick.

    I banned the spammer at my firewall, and turned off anon posting entirely for now. I’ll turn it back on again once I figure out how to enable comment captchas again using Drupal’s new captcha module…

    Because I had to use some SQL bulk editing stuff, though, it didn’t revert the “last update time” on nodes, so they’re all still screwed up. Oh, well. They’ll stay that way.
