This is what happens when cousins marry. Talk about a dysfunctional family! I’ve read horror stories from people who came from controlling families like this, but man!
My question is, if the dude she was marrying was also a Mormon and had passed the interview to get into the temple, what complaint could her parents possibly have? Is it because they were fundamentalists or something and wanted her to marry a polygamist? This is one of those things where I’m positive there’s a lot more to the story. Too bad we probably won’t get the full details.

If you do the math, the baby’s due date suggests conception took place right around the wedding. So she wasn’t so broke up about the kidnapping that they didn’t enjoy the honeymoon.
